What do I need to complete this oil pan saver kit?

Sandpaper and a wire brush are the bare minimum. A grinder with a wire wheel helps tremendously but is not 100% necessary for the process. You’ll need a surface to mix the epoxy on and a scraper or putty knife to mix with. In the kit you’ll get gloves, wedges, and epoxy. You’ll also need a small container of acetone to clean the pan saver and the cleaned oil pan that is currently on your truck. How long does this kit take to install?

This oil pan repair kit takes about 1-2 hours to prep the leaky oil pan (on your truck) and then about 20 minutes to mix the epoxy and cover the oil pan. The install of the pan saver and adding the wedges in place take about 20 minutes. The you’ll need to leave the jack in place underneath the pan saver for about 30 hours.
