This oil pan repair kit takes about 1-2 hours to prep the leaky oil pan (on your truck) and then about 20 minutes to mix the epoxy and cover the oil pan. The install of the pan saver and adding the wedges in place take about 20 minutes. The you’ll need to leave the jack in place underneath the pan saver for about 30 hours. This is assuming it is 60-80 degrees outside. Longer if colder, shorter if warmer.
The estimate to fix my truck was over $2,000. With very few tools and a Saturday afternoon I managed to patch up my pan for a fraction of the price. It’s been 3 years now and I still don’t see any spots in the driveway. This kit saved me well over a grand!
